Lighting Designers
Judith Daitsman has shed light on many theater, dance & performing arts productions in and around New York City including a triumphant tour with the Ballet Trocadero. She has designed productions of Henry the V, Bloody Poetry, an evening of one acts for the New Rude Mechanicals, Dr. Jekyll in Chamber, and Ahmal & the Night Visitors at BAM’s Carey Playhouse. Other credits include designs for Dancers Vanishing Co., Erroll Grimes & Dancers, Plath/Taucher Productions, and Amy Guggenheim. she has worked as lighting supervisor for the Spoleto Festival, USA and Glimmerglass Opera.
Pat Dignan has created designs for Andrew Jannetti & Dancers from its inception. Other credits include Off Broadway plays as well as designs for Lucinda Childs, Battery Dance Company, Hillary Easton, Eva Dean, Tim Miller, Yoshiko Chuma, Hilary Easton, Eleo Pomare, Karole Armitage, Ballet De Monte Carlo, and the 42nd Street Art Project.
Barry Steele has been lighting and supervising dance since 1989 working with Battery Dance Company, Pearson/Widrig Dance Company, Lucinda Childs Dance Company, Morales Dance, The Ballet Stars of Moscow (primary dancers of the Kirov and Bolshoi), Mary Seidman Dance, P.C.C.A. Dance, among others. Opera companies he has worked with include San Francisco Opera Center, Portland Opera, Nashville Opera, Sarasota Opera, Opera Delaware, and Glimmerglass Opera designing productions including Madama Butterfly, Der Fliegende Hollander, Il Barbiere di Seviglia, Werther, La Boheme, Carmen, and the world premiere of the American opera The Dreamers. Internationally produced operas include Salome and The Consul for Opera de Nantes and Opera d’Angers in France. Theatre productions, spanning from New York to San Francisco include Billy Budd, Isolated Incidents, Unidentified Human Remains…, Killer Joe, The Frog Prince, and the world premiere of Verbatim.
